Silicon nitride ceramic ball is a precision ceramic ball made of silicon nitride powder as raw material and refined at high temperature. It has high strength, good wear resistance, high temperature resistance, good corrosion resistance, light weight, density of only 3.2g/cm3, less than half of steel, and can achieve high-speed operation. At the same time, it has good self-lubricity and can be used in an environment without high pollution of lubricating media, so it becomes the first choice for all ceramic bearings and mixed ceramic ball bearings.

Properties of Silicon Nitride Ceramic Ball

 

1. High limit speed

Silicon nitride ceramic density is only 40% of steel, so using silicon nitride balls as bearing balls can reduce the centrifugal force and increase the limit speed.

 

 

2. Longer service life

The silicon nitride ceramic ball has light weight, smaller centrifugal force of bearing operation, low load of raceway, and small friction coefficient, so it has less wear and longer service life, which is more than 5 times that of steel ball bearings.

 

 

3. Wide temperature range

Silicon nitride ceramic ball is resistant to high temperature, and the coefficient of thermal expansion is small, so the bearing clearance is less affected by temperature changes than steel bearings, therefore silicon nitride ball bearing can be used in a wider temperature range.

 

 

4. No lubrication
